BOWLING – plans and coordinates the annual Bowling Tournament.
CANDIDATE GUIDANCE/ADMISSIONS - hosts two candidate luncheons each year. Attends a portion of each class held locally to help host a chapter luncheon to answer questions, promote classes, etc. Conducts candidate interviews.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH – oversees chapter volunteer opportunities. Plans at least two food drive/community programs per year.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION – responsible for advising leadership on the organizations diversity and inclusion needs and the progress of diversity initiatives throughout IREM Austin.
EDUCATION – helps plan and coordinate non-designation educational offerings, courses and seminars. Assists in the promotion of designation classes to members & potential members.
FUTURE LEADERS – provides career development and networking opportunities for those that are emerging leaders of the property management profession.
MEMBERSHIP – coordinates activities to increase member and membership satisfaction. Possible events include student outreach, socials, new member orientation, etc.
PROGRAMS – evaluates member program preferences and selects appropriate topics and speakers for monthly luncheon and coordinates with the IREM office. Introduces speakers at the meetings.
SPECIAL EVENTS – plans, coordinates, promotes and executes chapter social event, building tour and the IREM Austin Holiday Party.
TRENDS – coordinates annual TRENDS event.
