SUMMARY:Time Management in the AI Age: Building More Leverage with AI
DESCRIPTION:Join us on October 21from 1:00 PM–2:30 PM at the Frost Bank Tower [401 Congress Ave. – 11th Floor Conference Room – Ste 1160] for a hands-on AI workshop with Steven Rea\, CPM\, Chief Innovation Officer with Northpoint and past president of IREM Austin. \nBring your laptop. Bring one recurring task that takes too much of your time. Leave with a working AI workflow designed to help you do it better. \nAI is changing what effective time management looks like. The opportunity is no longer simply to organize your calendar more effectively or squeeze more activity into the workday. Today’s commercial and residential property management professionals can use AI to reduce repetitive work\, process information faster\, eliminate unnecessary context switching\, and spend more of their time on the judgment\, relationships\, and decisions that actually require a human being. \nThis hands-on workshop will move beyond generic AI demonstrations and one-off prompts. Participants will identify a real recurring task from their own work\, break down how that work gets done\, and build a reusable AI “skill” designed to help perform it faster and more consistently. Examples might include owner communications\, vendor comparisons\, meeting preparation and follow-up\, resident escalations\, property reports\, inspections\, market updates\, employee coaching\, research\, or other recurring operational work. \nParticipants will learn how to: \n\nIdentify where repetitive work\, context switching\, and information processing are consuming their time.\nSeparate work that requires human judgment from work that can be accelerated by AI.\nUse a practical framework to eliminate\, simplify\, standardize\, automate\, or augment recurring work.\nRecognize the types of work AI is particularly effective at performing\, including organizing\, summarizing\, comparing\, drafting\, transforming\, and synthesizing information.\nMove beyond one-off prompts and design reusable AI workflows around recurring responsibilities.\nDefine the inputs\, context\, process\, output\, guardrails\, and quality checks necessary for a reliable AI-assisted workflow.\nTest and improve AI-generated work rather than blindly trusting the first result.\nIdentify opportunities to progressively move recurring work from manual execution toward repeatable and potentially automated workflows\n\nLight snacks and beverages provided. \nQuestions or issues with registering\, please contact Jen George\, CAE at atxirem@gmail.com. \nDeadline to register is Monday\, October 19 @ noon. \n  \n

Elected and re-elected in decisive victories\, she has served with distinction in the 88th and 89th Legislative Sessions\, and subsequent special sessions. She is a leading voice in ensuring every child has access to a great education\, expanding property tax relief\, and keeping Texas a great place to enjoy\, live\, work\, and raise a family. \nHer principled low tax\, limited government\, and pro-child values have helped to shape the national conversation and keep Texas a beacon of liberty. \nRepresentative Troxclair is the bestselling author of Step Up! How to Advocate like a Woman\, inspiring a new generation of conservative women to boldly join the fight\, through advocacy and leadership in policy and politics. Representative Troxclair previously served as the youngest-ever elected woman\, and lone conservative voice\, on Austin City Council. In addition to managing a thriving small business in residential real estate\, her background also includes work as a Senior Fellow with the Texas Public Policy Foundation\, as a Fox News contributor\, and as a writer for Real Clear Politics\, the Washington Examiner\, and the Daily Caller. \nRepresentative Troxclair and her husband Caleb are active members of their local church and school communities\, and loving parents of three young children\, who are ninth generation Texans.
