Our goal at
Be an indispensable resource to our members on their career journeys in property management.
Develop
We know how hard it can be to juggle the day-to-day responsibilities of the job while also finding time to dedicate to your professional growth and development.
As many of our members will attest, however, it is more than worth it. It can be the catalyst that helps you achieve your professional goals, whether that’s earning your CPM® or similar certification, developing into a leadership role at your organization, learning a new skill or deepening your connections with other industry professionals.
All Skill Levels
At IREM Austin, we seek to provide multiple pathways to help property managers in and around Austin maximize their memberships – and to welcome anyone pursuing or exploring a career in real estate management.
Regardless of the type of property you manage, your background, education or your level of experience, there’s a place for you here.
On Their Journey
Here, you can learn from the best the industry has to offer. Here, you can forge a path to personal and professional growth, surrounded by like-minded peers and an organization that is singularly committed to helping you succeed.
So…welcome to IREM Austin. We’re happy you’re here.
What Our Members Say
People often join IREM for the prestigious certifications, and while my CPM® and ARM® credentials have absolutely advanced my career, what keeps me engaged are the educational opportunities beyond certification. From our mentorship programs to industry-leading speakers – including former Black Hawk pilot Elizabeth McCormick whose message transformed my approach to leadership – IREM consistently delivers valuable learning experiences you simply won’t find elsewhere.
Samantha Thornton, CPM®, ACoM®, ARM®
IREM Austin gave me leadership opportunities I never expected. As an assistant property manager, committee involvement put me in a position to lead people at all levels – including those many titles above me. While our jobs teach us to manage down, IREM taught me to manage sideways and up – a critical skill for executive leadership. Those experiences helped me become more effective both within the organization and my career. Being part of one of IREM’s top chapters internationally means access to world-class leadership development that you simply can’t find elsewhere.
Melissa Kreutner, CPM®
IREM Austin provides me with the two most important things I need as a property manager: a clear path to professional advancement through the CPM® designation, and a network of peers and industry partners who understand what I deal with daily. When my clients face challenges, I solve problems quickly thanks to my IREM connections. Between the other property managers I serve with on committees and the industry partners I’ve built relationships with over years, there’s truly nothing that comes close to the resources IREM gives me to excel at my job.
Evan Williams, CPM®
