Advance Your Career with Accredited
Certifications
Learn from the best the property management industry has to offer. IREM’s industry-leading certifications for residential and commercial property managers can catalyze your career, helping you increase your earning potential and fast-track your growth.
Whether you’re a young professional trying to earn a higher salary or a seasoned property manager or executive seeking the knowledge to maximize the value of your property, a certification through IREM will help you achieve your goals.
Certified Property Manager® (CPM)
One of our most popular and valuable programs – and a leading reason why our members choose IREM – the CPM® certification is for property and asset managers of any property type seeking the path to career growth.
With the CPM® designation, property managers have the potential to make more than double the average property manager salary in the U.S.
If you manage or oversee a team who manages large portfolios of multi-family, office, retail or industrial properties, the CPM® designation is for you.
Accredited Residential Manager® (ARM)
The ARM® is for residential property managers who are newer to the profession, aspiring to take the next step in their careers and gain control over their futures. If you manage small to mid-size residential portfolios, the ARM® is the designation for you.
With the ARM® designation, residential property managers earn 38% more on average and learn the core competencies necessary to qualify for higher-level positions within their organizations.
Accredited Commercial Manager® (ACoM)
Designed for aspiring commercial property managers, ACoM® teaches early career professionals the fundamentals of commercial real estate management.
Learn advanced skills in commercial property accounting, budgeting and capitalization and master the different types of commercial leases.
Accredited Management Organization® (AMO)
The AMO® is for real estate management firms with a CPM® in an executive position and ready to achieve and display company-wide excellence. If your firm wants global recognition and increased marketability, and you have a CPM® in an executive position supervising your real estate management activities, make the leap from great to elite by earning the AMO® accreditation.
Certified Sustainable Property
Enhance your ESG reporting and improve the net operating income of your property with IREM’s CSP certification – applicable to a wide variety of properties.
