Join the IREM Austin DEI Committee for a special visit to Freedom Place for an on-site workshop and guided tour exploring its vision, community impact, and approach to creating pathways for economic mobility.

Attendees will meet at the Cultivate Conference at Greater Mt. Zion, 4301 Tannehill Ln., Austin, TX 78721, where The Peace Van will provide shuttle transportation to and from Freedom Place.

The shuttle will depart at approximately 2:00 PM. The Freedom Place experience will last approximately 75–90 minutes, after which attendees will be transported back to Greater Mt. Zion.

What to Expect

During the visit, attendees will experience:

• A brief workshop covering the vision, ecosystem model, and strategy behind Freedom Place
• The story of the land and its generational legacy
• A guided walkthrough of the 4-acre Freedom Place site
• An overview of the tiny home community layout, wellness center, and Freedom Park
• Discussion on workforce development, public safety, and economic mobility
• Q&A and partnership discussion

Registration

There is no cost to attend, but this opportunity is exclusively for IREM Austin members.

Space and transportation are limited. Please RSVP no later than September 29 so we can secure the appropriate transportation for the group.
